Not Allowed

Blake’s daughter is moving back home from college with one intention...to put a stop to our wedding, just as she has done with the other women before me.

After all that I have heard about this horrible girl, I am prepared...to leave. That was the outcome of all the others, so why will I be any different? I am not prepared to go through all that drama because I have a company to run and a life outside of this relationship. It is better to put my energy there than to sit with Blake and his crazy daughter, whom he will only let have her way in the end.

With my suitcases packed, I await her arrival. She comes home and immediately the battle starts between her and her father. No sense in hiding, so I walk in, ready for my battle that never comes.

I was warned to prepare for a fight, so where is it? I am not prepared for this version of her, nor am I prepared to fall in love with this girl... a girl I am not allowed to have.
